Gamma Knife
Cromwell Hospital’s Gamma Knife was the first in London and
represents a major advance in brain surgery. It enables patients to
undergo a non-invasive form of neurosurgery which usually allows
them to return to their normal lifestyle the following day.
The Hospital has recently installed the latest generation of Gamma
Knife technology, the "Perfexion", which now enables us to treat
tumours and abnormalities not only in the brain but the head and
neck region also.
For further information go to the Gamma Knife Centre site.
