Nursing
Our nursing staff have experience of caring for both children
and adults with a wide range of medical and surgical needs. The
Cromwell nursing team is committed to giving the highest level of
care to patients and are continually encouraged to enhance their
knowledge and skills with relevant training.
The Nursing Department consists of 7 surgical wards, a High
Dependency Unit and Paediatric and Adult Intensive Care Units with
Level 3 capability. The Department also provides cover for the
Paediatric and Adult Outpatient and Daycase units.
There is a team of RMOs who provide 24hr cover for the Hospital. In
addition, there is 24hr Intensivist cover for Paediatric and Adult
ICU. Further medical cover is provided by specialist medical
officers in the major specialities.
