Pen Picture: He qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine and completed specialist dermatology training at St John's Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas' Hospital, London. In 2005 he was awarded a doctor of medicine degree for research into squamous cell carcinoma in epidermolysis bullosa and has published numerous scientific articles. Between 2006 and 2007 he completed a prestigious procedural dermatology fellowship at UTSouthwestern Medical Centre, Dallas, USA. This provided tremendous experience in Mohs micrographic surgery for complex skin cancers as well as laser surgery. He is one of the few dermatologists in the UK who has completed advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, which is certified by the American College of Mohs Surgery. Currently, he is on the Executive Committee of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery and is the Director of The Dermatological Surgery and Laser Unit at St John's Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas' Hospital, London, seeing referrals from across the country.
