Bupa Cromwell Hospital joins up
to “cleanyourhands”
campaign
As part of our ongoing commitment to reduce the
spread of preventable infections, Bupa Cromwell Hospital has signed
up to the NHS’ National Patient Safety Agency’s campaign.

So far the “cleanyourhands”
campaign has been taken up by all acute trusts in England and
Wales, and the majority of primary care, mental health, care and
ambulance trusts and has now been made available to independent
sector organisations.
The Infection Control Team at Bupa Cromwell
Hospital now has access to campaign resources, including
eye-catching posters, guidance booklets and DVDs. The campaign aims
to reduce the spread of preventable infections such as MRSA and
Clostridium difficile by educating and prompting staff to
clean their hands before and after treating each patient.
