Pen Picture: I am a cardiothoracic anaesthetist with a major interest in the organisation of anaesthesia and intensive care. I chair the speciality training comittee for anaesthesia for North Thames. I am the lead regional adviser to the Royal College of Anaesthetists for North Thames and sit on the RCA Training Committee. I have recently been appointed to the Intercollegiate Board for Intensive Care Medicine by the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
