Taking health & safety seriously
Bupa Cromwell Hospital has been working hard to ensure that the
environment for both patient and staff at the Cromwell is as safe
as possible.
We have recently achieved a British Safety Council
International Safety Award; devised to recognise and
reward organisations that show a commitment to improving corporate
health and safety. The installation of a state-of-the-art
fire alarm system is nearly complete and the recent appointment of
a dedicated Fire Officer has ensured that we received our annual
Certificate of Compliance for Fire
Protection.
Additionally, the hospital has established a Business
Continuity Planning Programme. Should the unexpected
happen, we have procedures in place and personnel trained to deal
with any disruption as effectively and efficiently as possible.
