The Bupa Cromwell Gamma Knife Centre is staffed by a team of
world-renowned neurosurgeons, clinical oncologists and
neuroradiologists, supported by a highly trained team of
physicists, radiographers and nurses; all working together to
provide the finest care for each individual patient.
Professor Christer Lindquist, a distinguished neurosurgeon and one
of the pioneers of Gamma Knife Surgery, heads the multidisciplinary
team. Professor Lindquist has extensive experience in Gamma Knife
Surgery spanning twenty years at the Karolinska Institute in
Sweden. He also worked very closely with the late Professor Lars
Leksell – founding father of the Gamma Knife.
