Endocrinology and Diabetes specialists provide advice and treatment to patients of all ages on a wide variety of metabolic and endocrine conditions.

 

Endocrinologists offer an integrated diagnostic and treatment service for patients, with access to other units and departments in the Hospital including endocrine and vascular surgeons; radiologists; oncologists; ophthalmologists; and cardiologists.

 

Both adult and paediatric endocrinologists treat patients with a variety of metabolic diseases including: diabetes; thyroid disorders and tumours; adrenal diseases; fertility problems and menopause; lipid disorders; obesity; calcium and bone disease including osteoporosis; electrolyte and acid-base disorders; and a variety of inherited metabolic diseases.

 

The Hospital also has a specialist Endocrine Surgery Centre which is led by leading Endocrine Surgeon, Mr John Lynn.
