About Dr Chantal Dewast

Doctor Dewast has been practicing exclusively in the field of women health for over 30 years, mainly in private practice at Cromwell Hospital. She was appointed as a fellow of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health in 1999.

She graduated in France (MD) in 1977 with a further qualification in medical gynaecology in 1983 at the University of Paris V, with a sub-speciality in infertility.

During her training she spent one year in the USA ( New York) where she obtained the ECFMG certificate ( Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates), in 1977. She also spent two years in various teaching hospitals in the Middle East ( Cairo).
