Dr Margaret O'Driscoll has specialised in paediatrics since 1980 and in developmental and community paediatrics since 1985. In 1993 she was appointed consultant paediatrician. She is experienced in the diagnostic assessment, investigation and management of children and young people where there are concerns ranging from mild developmental delay, such as lateness with talking or walking, to more complex developmental disorders including chromosomal anomalies, motor disorders such as cerebral palsy, and social communication disorders such as autism, learning and attention deficit difficulties.
Dr O'DriscollI has extensive experience of working with a multidisciplinary team of professionals involving speech and language therapy, clinical psychology, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. In addition she is experienced with working with the wider paediatric network and with local agencies including education and social services.
