Biography
Dr Ombarish Banerjee, graduated from the University of Glasgow Medical School in 2002, and was awarded membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008. During his 18 years of clinical practice he has accumulated a diverse portfolio of experience, including emergency medicine, orthopaedics, paediatrics, respiratory medicine, and gynaecology. He is also a qualified specialist in the field of diabetes and can oversee the management of insulin for patients who have advanced cases.
Dr Om has spent a year in Sydney working as a senior doctor in ER, leading teams of doctors and nurses, treating the full range of medical emergencies. In the NHS, Dr Om is currently a partner in a GP surgery in London. Aside from his clinical roles, he has been the Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Physiotherapy and Chronic Pain Management in his borough. He also has a keen interest in wearable technology in healthcare and has led innovative projects in London that use telehealth technology to monitor patients’ health remotely.
