Biography
Professor Peter J Milla is Emeritus Professor of Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at the UCLInstitute of Child Health, University College London. He underwent his paediatric training at the Royal London Hospital St Bartholomew's and Great Ormond Street. Together with the late Professor John Harries he set up the Department of Gastroenterology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and was Director of the Department from 1983-2004.
His principal clinical and research interests have been in intestinal failure, food allergy and motility disorders in children. He has written two textbooks and over 200 original papers.
