Mr Yaser Jabbar

Yaser Jabbar qualified from St George's Hospital in 2004.

After training in London, Oxford and Manchester he went on to fellowships in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. He was appointed as a consultant at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital looking after adult and paediatric trauma and limb deformity and infection. In 2017 Yaser was invited to work at Great Ormond Street Hospital as a leader in his field.

Yaser treats adults and children with any problem affecting the shape or function of their arms and legs. He is an expert in bone lengthening and realignment and is an active international educator and speaker in this field. Yaser has recently been developing the complex vascular anomaly service in conjunction with his interventional radiology colleagues.

Yaser is committed to patient autonomy and putting patients in control of their care. He has developed a GDPR compliant communication tool with colleagues and is actively developing patient centred AR techniques in surgery.
