Breast cancer care
World-leading care and support for the quick assessment, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
Overview
At Cromwell Hospital, our breast care service is led by expert breast consultants and supported by a dedicated breast clinical nurse specialist.
We offer a full pathway for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and other breast conditions.
So if you are worried about breast symptoms, our rapid-access breast care diagnostic pathway offers same and next day appointments with a breast consultant. Your consultation, mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy (if required) can take place on the same day to give you a quick diagnosis.
Our breast multidisciplinary team meets fortnightly to discuss each breast cancer diagnosis. This means all breast cancer cases are reviewed by a team of experts to ensure the best possible treatment and care. The breast multidisciplinary team is led by Prof Robert Leonard, Consultant Medical Oncologist.
You don’t have to have Bupa medical insurance to be treated at the Cromwell. We’re recognised by all major private medical insurers and offer a range of self-pay options.
