Miss Vivian A. Elwell is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Complex Spinal Surgeon.
Miss Vivian A. Elwell completed her Neurosurgical training on the North Thames Neurosurgical London Rotation. She gained further specialist training in complex spinal surgery as a Central London Senior Spinal Fellow. She was awarded the British Association of Spinal Surgeons President Travelling Fellowship and the International Group for Advancement in Spinal Science Fellowship (IGASS).
Miss Elwell has a specialist (clinical and research) interest in standard and complex spine surgery, peripheral nerve surgery (carpal and ulnar nerve decompression) and head injuries.
She was awarded and serves as an External Examiner for Imperial College School of Medicine, London (2023-2026). In 2025, she was awarded FRCP by the Royal College of Physicians.
