Dr Yae-eun Suh

Dr Yae-eun Suh is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, specialising in radiotherapy and systemic treatments for prostate cancer. She was appointed as a Consultant at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in 2016 and has been a Uro-Oncology specialist advisor and MRL specialist for GenesisCare since 2023.

Dr Suh qualified from the University of Edinburgh and undertook her specialist training in Clinical Oncology at The Royal Sussex County Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and The Royal Marsden. Dr Suh was awarded a PhD from King’s College London in 2016. Her doctoral research investigated the integration of imaging and molecular biomarkers to identify radioresistance, as well as the use of functional imaging to guide radiotherapy dose escalation to overcome treatment resistance.

Dr Suh's clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of prostate cancer, including localised, recurrent and advanced disease. She specialises in advanced radiotherapy techniques such as stereotactic body radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT), focal boost strategies, metastasis-directed therapy and salvage radiotherapy following surgery. Her research interests include technical radiotherapy, integration of systemic therapies with radiotherapy, and improving patient quality of life.
