About Dr Mohssen Chabok

Dr Mohssen Chabok is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist. He completed his medical degree at the Tehran School of Medicine, Iran in 2006, later moving to the UK to complete his Master's degree in Vascular Ultrasound at Imperial College London in 2010. He was awarded his Membership with the Royal College of Physicians in 2016.

Dr Chabok worked as a Clinical Manager in the private healthcare sector in the UK and Ireland for 5 years, later promoted to Clinical Director. This role involved medical education and screening for cardiovascular conditions. During this time, Dr Chabok established major research projects at renowned research institutions such as the University of Oxford and Imperial College London. In 2020, he was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London for his research work in Cardiovascular Medicine.

Dr Chabok completed his specialist training in the North West Thames cardiology rotation, gaining specialist expertise in interventional cardiology and general internal medicine. In 2018 he was appointed as an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Hammersmith Hospital. He was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals in 2021.

Dr Chabok has expertise in the treatment of a broad range of heart conditions, including atrial fibrillation, angina, and palpitations; hypertension and lipid disorders; valvular heart disease and heart failure; shortness of breath, dizziness, and syncope; and coronary artery disease.

He performs several procedures, including right heart catheterisation; implantable loop recorder insertion and explant; complex coronary intervention; angioplasty and stenting; intracoronary imaging; ECG interpretation; echocardiography; 24-hour blood pressure monitor; 24-hour Holter monitor; and diagnostic angiography.
