About Dr Asad Qureshi
Dr Asad Qureshi is a specialist in the treatment of upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers. He has particular expertise in the use of chemoradiation and advanced radiation techniques, including VMAT/IGRT, proton therapy and brachytherapy. Dr Qureshi has expertise in stereotactic radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT) on both linac and MR-guided platforms.
He is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Qureshi qualified from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals Medical School in 2001 and went on to complete his specialist training in Clinical Oncology at a number of departments in London, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital.
He has completed an MD research degree at King’s College London in stereotactic radiotherapy and advanced image-guided techniques.
