Dr Ozan Demir

Dr Ozan Demir is a highly regarded and award-winning Consultant Cardiologist, specialising in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and structural cardiology. He has particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of chest pain, coronary artery disease, aortic stenosis, valvular heart disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, palpitations, breathlessness, and preventive cardiology. He regularly performs advanced interventional procedures, including coronary angioplasty and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

Dr Demir graduated in medicine from King’s College London in 2009 and completed his specialist cardiology training at leading London centres, including Hammersmith Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital. Alongside his clinical training, he completed an MSc in Interventional Cardiology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, followed by a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine and Sciences at King’s College London.

Following advanced fellowship training in both coronary and structural heart intervention at world-renowned centres in the UK and Italy, Dr Demir was appointed Consultant Interventional Cardiologist. He has a specialist interest and broad expertise in the treatment of coronary artery disease, including coronary stenting, as well as structural heart disease, particularly TAVI, and other transcatheter structural heart interventions.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Demir is widely published in high-impact cardiology journals and is actively involved in research, education, and innovation in cardiovascular care. He is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin School of Medicine.
