Mr Anshul Sobti

Mr Anshul Sobti is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, where he also serves as Trauma Director and Clinical Governance Lead for the orthopaedic service. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across all age groups, from children to older adults with advanced arthritis, and is a strong advocate of shared decision-making in clinical practice.

Mr Sobti studied Medicine in Mumbai, India, and completed his core orthopaedic training and fellowship at P D Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai. He further advanced his orthopaedic expertise in the UK through prestigious fellowships at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust (Stanmore), and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is fellowship trained in complex trauma, hip and knee replacement surgery, and paediatric orthopaedics.

Clinically, Mr Sobti specialises in adult hip and knee surgery, including joint replacements and joint preservation procedures, as well as sports injuries and keyhole (arthroscopic) knee surgery, including meniscal repair and excision. He also has extensive expertise in paediatric orthopaedics, managing a wide range of conditions affecting the upper and lower limbs, including hip, knee, foot and ankle disorders, paediatric fractures, limb deformities, and gait abnormalities.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Sobti is actively involved in medical education as the Orthopaedic Module and Musculoskeletal Block Lead for medical students at Brunel Medical School, based at Hillingdon Hospital. He has presented widely at national and international scientific meetings and has an extensive portfolio of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
