Clinical Interests

Psychological or psychiatric issues in relation to various neurological conditions (including epilepsy, MS, traumatic brain injuries and stroke), memory disorders (including amnesia syndromes, dementias, delirium and mild cognitive impairment), medically unexplained neurological symptoms, mood disorders or anxiety disorders, affecting neurological conditions, organic psychiatric disorders, psychiatric condisions (such as depression, affective disorders) and general psychiatric conditions.

About Dr Benson Benjamin

Dr Benjamin is a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist. He has dual accreditation certification (CCT) in Old Age and General Adult Psychiatry with a specialist endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) and holds a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry (Ireland) with a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychiatry from Kings College London.

Dr Benjamin also has an interest in sleep disorders and has completed Oxford CBTI training. He has significant experience in the neuropsychiatry of stroke, functional neurological disorders, traumatic brain injury, neuropsychiatry of epilepsy, cognitive (memory) disorders, dementia and neuropsychiatric conditions, following various physical health/neurological illnesses.
