About Dr Leanne Goh

Dr Goh is a Consultant Paediatric Allergist with a wealth of experience, having practised at consultant level since 2015. She specialises in the diagnosis and management of childhood allergic conditions, with particular expertise in food allergy, eczema, asthma, allergic rhinitis hayfever, and chronic urticaria. Her clinical interests are especially focused on gastrointestinal and skin allergies.

Dr Goh completed her medical training at Queen's University before earning a masters degree in Allergy from Imperial College London, graduating with distinction. Her postgraduate training took place in some of the UK’s leading allergy centres, including St Mary's Hospital and Evelina London Children’s Hospital at St Thomas.

She currently leads the Paediatric Allergy Service at St Mary’s London Hospital and oversees the Gastrointestinal and Dermatology Allergy services at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Beyond her clinical roles, Dr Goh is deeply involved in medical education and quality improvement. She leads on numerous governance projects, aimed at enhancing safety and care standards both locally and nationally. She co-founded the Responsive In-situ Simulation for Kids (RISK) programme at University College London Hospitals, designed to support training and service improvement through real-time simulation.

Dr Goh is an active member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI), attending council meetings and founding the national Gastro-Allergy Network. She also holds memberships in several national and international professional bodies, including the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the European and British Societies of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN, BSPGHAN), and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).

Dr Goh is known for her enthusiasm, clinical excellence, and commitment to advancing paediatric allergy care. She is passionate about improving health outcomes and quality of life for children and young people with allergic conditions
