About our telemedicine service

Cromwell Hospital is committed to providing dedicated international services for the benefit of our patients and colleagues around the world.

Our telemedicine service allows our consultants to virtually share their expertise with international healthcare colleagues through multidisciplinary team meetings and second opinions.

Our telemedicine suite has been designed so our consultants can undertake virtual consultations from a private, bespoke location within the hospital, allowing us to provide a seamless and secure service from start to finish.

We provide a range of virtual services including second opinions, multidisciplinary team reviews, and diagnostic and treatment planning support.

How it works

If you have booked a telemedicine appointment with us, you will receive a unique URL on email ahead of your appointment.

When your appointment is due to start, simply click through on your URL and join the virtual waiting room – you do not need to enter any credentials. The clinician will then start the appointment.

You can have the appointment wherever suits you best; from the comfort of your home or office. Your clinician can share their screen with you if they want to show you any images or other test results. There is also the option to see multiple experts in one session where necessary.

Simply close the session when finished. Your clinician can organise any follow-up appointments or referrals.
