Dr Timothy Crook and Datar Cancer Genetics at ESMO Annual Congress 2025Dr Timothy Crook, Consultant Medical Oncologist at Cromwell Hospital, and Datar Cancer Genetics recently hosted a special “Precision Oncology: Meet the Experts” session at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Annual Congress, which was held in Berlin, Germany from 17 to 21 October. 

The session also featured Dr Sewanti Limaye, Director of Medical and Precision Oncology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai.

The event showcases the latest breakthroughs in oncology and offers high-quality education and networking opportunities. 

The “Meet the Experts” session offered a unique platform for clinicians and researchers worldwide to engage with the specialists, exchanging insights and experiences on the rapidly evolving landscape of cancer genomics. Among the many significant research advances presented, highlights included: 

  • exosomal miRNA analysis for enhanced breast cancer classification 
  • AI-powered circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection 
  • comprehensive genomic profiling in gliomas
