When it comes to your gut health, finding clear answers can be difficult.

At our gut health clinic, we take a thorough, evidence-based approach to understanding what's affecting your health.

Using advanced testing and specialist expertise, we work to identify the cause of your symptoms and provide answers you can trust.

Led by a colorectal surgeon and supported by a multidisciplinary team, we look beyond your symptoms to build a complete picture of your health. This helps us uncover problems that may otherwise be missed and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Whether you're experiencing digestive symptoms, concerned about your weight, managing a hormone or metabolic condition, or simply want to take a more proactive approach to your health, we're here to help you better understand your body and get the support you need.

Who can our clinic help?

Your gut health is connected to many aspects of your overall health. That's why we support people with a wide range of health concerns and at different stages of life.

Through expert-led care, detailed assessment, and advanced testing where appropriate, we can create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

If you’re experiencing symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, reflux, constipation, or diarrhoea, our specialists can help. We support people with a wide range of digestive conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).

We use advanced testing and personalised care to better understand your gut health and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Your gut health and hormones are closely linked. Changes in hormone levels during pregnancy, after having a baby, during perimenopause or menopause, or with conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can affect your digestion, energy levels, weight, and overall wellbeing.

Our specialists can support you if you’re pregnant, have recently given birth, are breastfeeding, managing PCOS, or going through menopause. We take a personalised approach to care, helping you understand how your gut health and hormones may be affecting your symptoms and long-term health. Where appropriate, your care may include pelvic floor physiotherapy to help with symptoms linked to your pelvic floor.

It can be difficult to know when gut symptoms need further investigation. You may have symptoms that have started recently, keep coming back, or have been affecting you for some time.

If something does not feel right, our specialists can help you understand what may be causing your symptoms. We’ll look at your gut health and your wider health to decide whether you need further tests or treatment. You’ll have the opportunity to talk openly about your symptoms and concerns, so we can help you understand what is happening and what you can do next.

People with metabolic conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, often have changes in the bacteria that live in their gut. This can affect how the body processes food, controls blood sugar, and stores energy.

Our specialists can support you if you have type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, fatty liver disease, or another metabolic condition. They’ll help you understand how your gut health may be affecting your condition and create a personalised plan to support your overall health and wellbeing.

Your gut health can affect your appetite, food cravings, metabolism, and weight. The balance of bacteria in your gut may also influence how your body uses energy and responds to different foods.

Our specialists can support you if you’re struggling to lose weight, have regained weight after dieting, or would like a more personalised approach to weight management. Your care may include medical weight management, support with weight-loss medications, eating behaviour therapy, body composition tracking, and advice on improving your gut health.

Stress and emotions can affect how your digestive system works. You may notice symptoms such as bloating, stomach pain, diarrhoea, or constipation become worse during stressful periods.

Our specialists can support you if stress, sleep problems, or emotional wellbeing are affecting your gut health. Your care may include support from psychologists, gut-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), stress management programmes, sleep support, and burnout recovery.

Many factors can influence how well we age, including our gut health, hormones, lifestyle, and metabolism. Understanding these factors can help you make informed choices about your long-term health.

Our specialists can help you better understand your health and identify potential risk factors before they become problems. Your assessment may include biological age testing, inflammation markers, cardiometabolic risk profiling, hormone assessments, and lifestyle recommendations tailored to your needs.
