About Mr Amer Raza
Mr Raza leads one of the largest endometriosis centres in the United Kingdom, based at Cromwell Hospital, where he treats some of the most complex cases referred from across the country and internationally. He is a national pioneer of single-port robotic surgery and among the first UK surgeons to introduce and develop this technology for gynaecology. He continues to drive the advancement of robotic techniques and surgical innovation in women’s health, and is a European robotic surgery proctor and instructor, teaching surgeons across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
He directs a large multidisciplinary team that includes colorectal surgeons, urologists, radiologists, fertility specialists, pain specialists, physiotherapists, psychotherapists, sexual health therapists, and nutrition and wellness experts. This integrated approach ensures that women with severe endometriosis receive highly specialised, comprehensive, and individualised care.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Raza is deeply committed to women’s health advocacy and charitable initiatives. He contributes to national and international awareness programmes, including the Menstrual Health Project, where he supports campaigns on menstrual wellbeing, mental health, and the impact of endometriosis on quality of life.
As an educator, he regularly teaches, mentors, and proctors surgeons in advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques. He is the founder and director of several renowned training platforms, including CCMIG (Chelsea Centre for Minimal Access Gynaecology), and he frequently presents at national and international conferences on robotic innovation, complex endometriosis surgery, and emerging surgical technologies.
Mr Raza’s work continues to attract patients from across the UK and internationally who seek his expertise in managing severe and deeply infiltrating endometriosis. His practice is defined by a multidisciplinary philosophy, surgical precision, and a commitment to improving outcomes for women living with complex gynaecological disease.
