Miss Georgia Puckett

Georgia is a Specialist Dietitian at Cromwell Hospital who works predominantly in the provision of nutritional support on the Surgical and Medical inpatient wards. She also enjoys sharing this expertise in the outpatient setting where she also holds outpatient clinics to support patients requiring nutrition support following many different forms of Gastrointestinal, Head and Neck, Liver and Pancreatic surgeries.

Georgia excelled in her studies at The University of Surrey and then began her career as a Dietitian in Berkshire, where she developed skills in Cardiology and Respiratory specialisms and worked primarily on the High Dependency Units and Intensive Care Unit. During this time, she developed a passion for supporting patients to make dietary changes following admission to hospital with cardiac events. She devoted time to creating a specialist cardiac rehabilitation service.

She then went on to develop an interest in Oncology (particularly Head and Neck Oncology) and worked in a Specialist Oncology Centre. Here she gained a lot of experience working with professionals in the field of Head and Neck and Upper GI cancers, supporting patients through Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy treatment. Georgia also has experience working with Pancreatic Cancer and Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiencies.

Georgia then joined the team at Cromwell Hospital in October 2022 and has since become very involved within many of the hospital’s specialist teams.

Georgia has a particular passion to further better the care and expertise of the Dietetic Team here at Cromwell Hospital and continues to keep her knowledge base up to date with the latest evidence and research.
