Ms Manvi Sobti

Ms Manvi Sobti is a Consultant Ophthalmologist, specialising in eyelid (oculoplastic) and cataract surgery. She completed her medical degree and postgraduate ophthalmology training in Mumbai, followed by higher specialist training in Scotland. She subsequently undertook advanced fellowships in London (medical retina), Glasgow (oculoplastic surgery and ocular oncology), and at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where her training focused on complex oculoplastic surgery, craniofacial trauma, Stevens–Johnson syndrome, eyelid reconstruction, and the management of eyelid burns.

At Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Ms Sobti leads the Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) service in partnership with endocrinology colleagues. She is also a core member of the craniofacial team, managing neurofibromatosis and complex oculofacial trauma. Moreover, she works collaboratively with the burns unit to provide specialist care for patients with eyelid burns, ensuring excellent functional and aesthetic outcomes.
