The London Core Review and their Course Director, Mr Aziz Momin, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Cromwell Hospital, recently visited Bangladesh.

The London Core Review held their first course in the country as part of the PHA Global Summit-2024 organised by Planetary Health Academia. The summit shared medical excellence and knowledge with healthcare professionals in Bangladesh.

The course, held between the 18-22 February, aimed to demonstrate advanced cardiac and thoracic surgery skills. The three-day intensive course is suitable for a wide range of national and international trainees.

Dr Farid, PHA Fellow Trustee and Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, noted that The London Core Review Course was a great opportunity for Bangladeshi surgeons as it allowed attendees to interact with the world-class faculty and also learn hands-on.

“We were delighted to attend the PHA Global Summit 2024 and deliver our course for the benefit of Bangladeshi and international attendees,” said Mr Aziz Momin, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon and London Core Review Course Director.

The next London Core Review Cardiothoracic Surgery Course is being held on the 10-12 April 2024 at the Wellcome Centre in London.
