Dr Billy Cheung

Dr Billy Cheung is a Consultant in Acute and General Medicine at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He qualified from King's College London School of Medicine in 2008. This was followed by NHS post graduate training across London and East of England, gaining experience in a wide range of hospitals, including Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

Dr Cheung was appointed as Consultant in Acute and General Medicine at St Thomas' Hospital in 2019. He specialises in management of acutely unwell patients from a broad range of medical conditions, from both new diagnosis to exacerbation of chronic conditions. In his NHS post, he also holds additional roles of Mortality Lead in General Medicine and Education Lead for the Acute Medicine department, supporting his interests in clinical governance and medical education.
