Dr Catherine Ellis

Dr Catherine Ellis qualified as a doctor in 2005 after studying at St George's, University of London, and obtaining an additional Bachelor of Science degree. She completed her postgraduate training in South London and Surrey, rotating through General Adult Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Psychiatry.

She qualified as a GP in 2010 and has extensive experience in managing acute and chronic problems in both adults and children. She has worked in busy NHS practices for ten years and has worked in the private sector for the last six years. Together with Dr Shazia Ovaisi, she is a co-founder of the Nightingale Doctors which provides bespoke private GP services for local and international patients. Alongside her practice at Cromwell Hospital, she will continue to be an NHS partner and Clinical Director of a Primary Care Network.

Dr Ellis has undertaken further training and holds the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as the Diploma of Child Health, and has completed a Respiratory Diploma.

Dr Ellis strives to provide excellent personalised care to all, regardless of their age or gender. She is a big believer in preventative medicine and health promotion.
