Overview

Our caring and expert paediatric consultants treat a range of urology conditions in children aged up to 18.

These include incontinence, bed-wetting, urinary tract infections and undescended testes.

Experts in their field, our specialists also treat a range of more complex conditions, including conditions diagnosed in the womb, bladder exstrophy, neuropathic bladder and spina bifida.

Our paediatric urologists are supported by a wider team of specialist nurses, anaesthetists and therapists.

We also have a paediatric urology incontinence specialist among the team, who diagnoses and treats children with a range of complex wetting problems.

Please note that we do not provide a paediatric intensive care unit at Cromwell Hospital. However, any deteriorating child will be quickly assessed and stabilised by a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) trained in paediatric intensive care, supported by an on-call Paediatric Intensive Care Consultant, before being transferred to the most appropriate paediatric intensive care provider by the Children’s Acute Transport Service (CATS).
