Liver conditions we treat
At the Liver and Renal Centre, our consultant hepatologists treat a wide scope of conditions affecting the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree and pancreas.
What is liver disease?
Liver disease is an umbrella term that refers to different conditions affecting the liver. This includes conditions like hepatitis, haemochromatosis, biliary tree conditions, and fatty liver disease. Our liver specialists provide expert care for these conditions.
There are several known risk factors for developing liver disease, including being overweight, having an untreated hepatitis infection, and alcohol misuse. Many liver diseases only show symptoms once cirrhosis (scarring) of the liver has already occurred. For an accurate diagnosis, we offer private liver scans delivered by experienced liver specialists in London.
