Paying for yourself at Cromwell Hospital (self-pay)
Quick and easy access to leading consultants and a wide range of medical services. Choose to pay for yourself today.
At Cromwell Hospital, we know that waiting for medical treatment can impact on your quality of life – leaving you frustrated and sometimes even in pain.
With specialist consultants covering a wide range of medical and surgical treatments, Cromwell Hospital offers patients fast access to high quality treatments, and the chance to avoid waiting lists or expensive insurance premiums, by self paying for treatment.
Self-pay means that you pay for your own treatment. Anyone can self pay for diagnostic tests and treatments – you don’t need medical insurance or a GP referral.
We offer a wide range of tests, treatments and surgical procedures, which you can pay for as and when you need them. This means you can have fast access to our consultants and services without the need for private health insurance or a GP referral.
Please note, in most cases your consultant will invoice you separately for their services. The payment process will all be explained in detail to you, so you will know what you are paying for from the outset.
With our self-pay packages, you'll know exactly what you're paying from the start. You will be provided with a price for your diagnostics and treatment in one, so you don’t need to worry about incurring additional, unexpected costs. Your consultant fees will be billed separately.
Please find below a selection of our most popular self-pay packages. If the treatment you’re looking for is not listed below, please get in touch and we can assist you.
At this stage we will be able to give you a guide price for the treatment you need. Please be aware this may change and the final price will be given to you after you have your initial appointment with you consultant.
We will be able to give you the consultant’s consultation fee at this point as well.
When you attend your initial appointment, your consultant will discuss with you your health history and your treatment options.
They will also book any diagnostic tests you may need prior to your surgery or treatment. These could include X–Rays, MRI scans and blood tests.
After you’ve seen your consultant and undergone any required diagnostics tests, we can then confirm the price for your treatment. If you have further questions, we will be on-hand to answer these and support you in making an informed decision.
If you would like to go ahead with the treatment, we can then book you in at a date and time most convenient for you. We’ll continue to be available to answer questions and support you as best as we can throughout.
We will contact you to take the payment for your treatment five days before you come into the hospital.
